A Deadly Mistake - Zariah - 05-05-2019 Zariah had plans in the works. The Launceleyn Family had sat idle too long in this new world, and now it was time for them to come out and play. She had seen enough of what this world had to offer and had been left unimpressed. Now it was simply a matter of growing, changing, evolving - becoming all that they had been bred to be in a world that was dreadfully unprepared for the strength of their will and might. They had been stunted though. Their magic had been pulled back to almost nothing comparatively. But that wouldn't last forever. It was just a matter of time, playing their cards right, seeing what they might take advantage of and use for their favor. But she was itching to get started. It left her pacing and wandering, and led her down to the Underground. Perhaps here she might find things on which to let off some of her impatience. Looking around, she noticed a Bloatbeetle having crawled into the shade and out of the blazing LongHeart sun. Poor little Bloatbeetle...her lips curled in a vicious smirk. Concentrating on the flame in the lantern she had brought, she carefully manipulated it to follow the poor creature that had the misfortune of coming into her path today. She knew full well that the heat might kill it - but she didn't care. It would be fun, and a good training opportunity. RE: A Deadly Mistake - Mara - 05-10-2019
RE: A Deadly Mistake - Zariah - 05-13-2019 "Enjoy harassing little creatures?" The voice alone irked her. Not so much what was said, but the tone. Zariah could smell entitlement a mile away. When it was deserved, she had no issue with it. But when it wasn't? It was sickening. Slowly she turned, blank stare landing on the blonde woman, who seemed far too pretty to have any sense in her brain. Pity. [say]"Perhaps."[/say] she said quietly, turning away from the woman again. Briefly she continued to harass the poor oversized beetle. But then a dark and dangerous thought slowly wormed its way into the back of her mind. It really had been quite a long time since she had done anything she had been raised to do. Sure, she had been leading the family in her quiet way, taking her time to really judge their situation. But a family head was her most recent training. No, a Launceleyn was made to defend. To fight. To kill. She turned back to the woman, allowing the beetle to slowly find a safer place to be in the shadows. There was much more interesting things to play with now. [say]"You're awfully pretty to be walking around a place like this. Meeting a lover? Or have you silly thoughts of adventurous grandeur playing in your mind?"[/say] Zariah asked quietly, watching her like a cat watching a mouse. |
