but they do look brighter - Deimos - 04-07-2025 With one quest finished, and one less motion bridged across his shoulders, the Sword arrived to another moment within shrines. There were hordes to do and accomplish, but a vital aspect to Halo loomed amidst their grasp – and he couldn’t bear the thought of his citizens not being able to heal or access something vital in times of need. The Infirmary was a crucial portion, but so were the springs – and that loss had contorted through his mind a myriad of times. It’d be a long process, but they were a determined faction, and he’d never thought they’d stray away from what was necessary. So he bowed his head along the Citadel offerings once more – extending his own, and many others, to the forefront. Some were carved figures of Safrin herself, in displays of power, might, and majesty, granted and given by woodcutters; remarkable pelts and furs intentionally designed in ornamental stars, and then his, with artistic renderings composed in soft, glowing lights. Taking a long, slow breath, he considered his words properly, granting a small smile in regards all the while. [say]“Safrin, Halo would be honored, if you are willing, to assist us in rebuilding our hot springs within the Citadel.”[/say] -- [say]This is a regional quest request to rebuild the hot springs in the Citadel (rather than out in the Fangs) for Safrin.[/say] RE: but they do look brighter - Safrin - 04-08-2025 The air in the Citadel shrine stirred with a low hum, subtle and reverent, as if even the mountain wind dared to pause. Starlight seeped in through the cracks, gliding like silver mist across the floor until, in a shimmer of quiet majesty, Safrin appeared. She stood with the elegance of one born from cosmic fire, her gown trailing behind her like a comet’s tail, eyes aglow with a thousand suns—though gentled now, warmed by purpose and pride. Her gaze swept over the offerings without a word, fingertips brushing the pelts and wooden carvings as if committing each tribute to memory. She lingered over the glowing renderings, her smile curling with unmistakable approval. [say]"Well, well,"[/say] she murmured, voice velvet and rich with affection. [say]"I’ve waited a long time to hear Halo ask for my aid."[/say] Her starlit eyes turned to Deimos then as she grinned. [say]"Of course I will help Halo rebuild."[/say] Halo has received a RQ! Tasks. There is no time limit. There are currently 12 active Halovian's. This means 6 unique characters have to participate. Characters can participate more than once. Deimos must participate in at least 2 threads, and Evie must participate in 1. 1. A thread of at least 3 halovians gathering water from the Eyes of Vi in the Greatwood 2. A ME discussing where the springs should go within the Citadel. 3. A PQ digging out the area to be used for the springs. Must have at least 8 rounds 4. A thread with at least 3 participants collecting shiny things - rocks, gems, shells, etc RE: but they do look brighter - Deimos - 04-08-2025 Safrin’s appearance caused another smile – though he wasn’t surprised by the response. [say]“Sorry to keep you waiting,”[/say] and he meant it; but between upgrades with Frey, alterations with Vi, the time and the place hadn’t been on their side. Nor much else; given how they were repeating a venture they’d gained some time before. But nevertheless, they’d work to prevail again. Listening to the tasks at hand, most sounded and felt familiar, and he gave a solidified nod, and another grateful grin. [say]“Thank you again. Halo will do its part.”[/say] They’d really in all their determination and steadfastness; starting along the edges of discussions and gathering the necessities. Bowing his head in gratitude and acknowledgment once more, the Sword headed out – ready to hasten the semblances across the region. [FIN] |
