He thought of Vanya - then of Remi - and guilt and pleasure mingled into an uncomfortable mess in the pit of his stomach. So Ronin brushed it away for later contemplation.
For now, he was happy. And having died and come back from the dead, little moments of happy were all he really cared about any more. So, smiling over his shoulder to the alchemist, Ronin led the way back to the guildhall, where their daughter and their work awaited.
