thank you for saying goodbye - Kiada - 07-31-2025

Maybe she’s selfish in how Amalia had immediately focused on her rather than the entirety of everyone else. So when she easily sweeps in to see the Archangel, she’s already reaching out with surprise and a touch of heartbreak to realize she was here because she wasn’t alive anymore. She tugs her figurative mother away from the rest of the crowd, selfishly corralling her on her own before she sweeps her into a warm and tight hug.

“[say]Hope you have time, Ama.[/say]” She murmurs, despite them both knowing how much time she had. “[say]I uh… The Voice brought some of us back during one Leafchange at Ludo’s Festival.[/say]” She starts to explain, squeezing her hand as she lets her iceberg gaze focus on her, tilting her horned head. “[say]We just had to come back as Ascended and gods it was awful to be one. But I really wanted to come back. I didn’t… I didn’t want to just die in the lava pits of the Climb, even if Tanau was really nice.[/say]” And cute, as it turned out, not that she thinks about that so much lately.

Still, it’s a lot to digest and she hesitates, waiting for Ama to ask any questions she might have before she continues, letting her hand squeeze the Archangel's arm slightly, the wedding ring on her finger glinting with the movement.
