RE: find a way - Deimos - 06-24-2019

The beast hid the sneer, the disdain, he had for any celestial being interlude. It was a bitter, rancorous effort not to openly raise his hackles at the mention of them, for various reasons, but mainly the general abandonment of his kind, and Amalia’s latest plea going unheard, ignored, as if it were naught. He made no mention of their attempts; perhaps Jigano had better luck than they, capable of bending a god’s ear.

He kept his arm proffered as Jigano took it, leading and lending him aid as they meandered closer to the chiseled armaments of a stone wall, eyes watching the bard’s smile, any indication that he’d pressed too far, that the bestial ramifications of his invocations blistered and festered, withered and decayed. “Perhaps something else you could ask your Gods.” He arched his brow, pondering the elements of such magical items; witnessing a grimace unfold along the Loreseeker’s face. “Later,” he agreed with a nod, with the slightest of smirks working their way into his stoic, nonchalant foundation. As for assisting him towards and into the infirmary, he could easily make it happen, lending strength where Jigano always leant wisdom. A trade, a bartering system, while their armor chinked and reformed. “When you are ready.”
