the sum of small efforts - Deimos - 06-16-2026 Between meetings and paperwork (both readily avoided when he could), Deimos had already drawn up several plans for the region’s growth. It was always tempting to simply train the soldiers and be done with it, but they likely deserved some modicum of a break, and with LongNight approaching more would be out on patrol regardless (and with the growing sense of unease from the Oerwoud, he’d like to have most diligent, rested, and prepared). There thought of harvesting was quickly dismissed due to the climate and season – he wouldn’t be sending any of his constituents out into the brink of winter’s grasp on a death wish. So in the interim, perhaps it wasn’t terribly difficult to sign over improvements – to be better stocked and roads flourished and ensuring that developments, enhancements, and refinements moved forward, for the greater good. Striking that off his list, he persisted in other plans and necessities, before heading off to other duties. [FIN]
