He'd never had friends who really had tried to look out for him in the real sense. Well, not except -- no. He couldn't think of her. He'd get too upset that he was taken away.
Her suggestion made him laugh because of how little she seemed to understand. [say]"I don't crave alcohol - I crave being drunk. It makes it waaaaay easier to think and not feel too bad. Why would I drink if I couldn't get drunk?"[/say] He felt like he was explaining something obvious.
All of this was getting way too real for the kind of afternoon he wanted to have, though. [say]"C'mon. Lay down, let's chill and maybe eat some of your pastries soon. I think something sweet would blow my fucking mind right now."[/say]
