Pinned to the mural of The Voice is a brief note. It's a formality, really, because Wessex hadn't asked for their permission, she'd gone ahead and done something for the sake of them and the rest of the Hallowed Grounds.
It reads:
I'm volunteering the Ascended as escorts for rose planting when it's dark. This is non-negotiable and essential in maintaining goodwill. Thank you for your cooperation.
