Flower by the Water (OPEN) - Bastien - 09-27-2019
Two roses planted and one to go.
Bastien chose to plant his last rose at the Oasis because he had always had a fondness for the spot; the water was beautiful even in the Deepfrost, glimmers of thin ice shining along the surface. The rose would look perfect along the shore, he thought, and aesthetics had always been his main concern, even for life-saving flower planting.
Kneeling, he pushed aside cold ground and placed his last rose in the ground, whispering a small prayer to no one in particular that it would help those with the Blight. He was glad, as he patted the dirt back around the roots, that his fingers could not feel the true bite of the cold. Bastien smirked a little at the idea that his Ascended ability was helping him to do this, given the origins of the disease he was trying to fight.
