Only time would tell how terrible a plan this was, the false confidence in the unknown of dragons and Halo and all of the things in that nature. But he focuses instead on letting Amalia questioning whether he wants something or not, answering that he likely should try the Shield’s bakery just to at least say he has. And all he can do is nod to her with a small smile when she tells him that she’s been out of commission.
He’s got all the time to wait.
“[say]Hm, sweet.[/say]” He hums, before settling in to wait until they’re done, until they’re baking and filling the space with the scent of them. Before long, he’s got a variety of scones at his disposal, certainly far better than he had imagined he’d find here.
