Daisy, Daisy - Isla - 12-17-2018 When Isla wasn't in the infirmary it seemed she was always out forraging for things that might be used in it. The medic never stopped these days, and while that was far from an uncommon situation for her, it was beginning to take its toll. She just wished the herbs and plants here made sense, or were at the very least remotely familiar to that which she was used to back in Northaven. Here she wasn't sure if something would cure nausea or induce it, would soothe a fever or spike it, and therein lay the difficulty. Without someone to test it upon (a terrifying prospect) or knowledge to draw upon, she was basically navigating blind. Straightening up with a few snipped flowerheads in hand (they were terrible for medicine but she had discovered they made quite a lovely tea), Isla squinted into the Leafchange sunlight and tilted her head. She hadn't been out to this part of the Fields before, and she swore she could make out... a cottage. With a garden? Blinking to make sure the structure didn't simply disappear like a mirage, Isla let out a soft 'oh' and subconsciously found herself walking towards it. This was the first habitable place she thought she'd found apart from the Sanctuary. RE: Daisy, Daisy - Georgia - 01-10-2019
RE: Daisy, Daisy - Isla - 01-12-2019 The garden was beautiful and Isla's smile grew as her gaze danced over the flowers, plants and herbs. Some of them she recognised even at this distance, but they were few and far between in this new and foreign place. She was admiring some of the brighter colours, still meandering closer, when all at once the door opened and a woman appeared, her arm waving in an arc towards the healer. Almost automatically, she shot a smile in return and waved as well, her footsteps slowing as she reached the very edges of the garden. [say]"Hello,"[/say] she called politely. [say]"I don't quite know... what is this place? I was forraging for herbs and other useful plants, but I've never seen a garden quite like this. I didn't mean to bother you, if you're busy."[/say] |
