Delphine had not seen Loren in person since her first time in Halo when she'd upset him and he had clawed her across the face. Life had fallen apart, and Halo had been the place she'd fled too. Now...
She was trying to make life better. And part of making life better meant ensuring that past mistakes stayed in the past. So she'd asked around, to find out where the other healer was.
Never in her life had she sought contraceptives, but she wanted what she had with Noah to work. As she entered the Kraai, her gaze searched not for a place to sit, but for the man in question.
While she was here... she'd try to be useful, convince him that she could be useful because perhaps that would convince herself. Noah was doing wonders for her self-esteem, he made her want to try and she hadn't wanted to try in years.
