* The Custom Magic that I chose is modeled closely after Base Healing but with trade-offs. Inability to heal others -> regrow what was lost. Inability to heal mind/mental -> enough adrenline to get help.

OKAY. I clearly need to make things more clear x.x
So willpower is only for Accepted. It's just listed in the magic list because of how the system pulls the list. That and sunlight resistance just being for the ascended.

I thought about it for a while and there is just nothing else that fits him. Can we say that he was not in good enough health to manifest his first magic slot into a base magic and leave the slot empty?

I thought about that too, but I think for right now it might just be best if he doesn't have an ability. Similar to how Quentin doesn't have a specialty because he was too immature when he was tested. I'll try to think of some happening later on that triggers that slot into a base ability
