You hold and begin to drift away, comforted by the weight on your chest, the way her fingers play patterns on your skin. With your remaining energy you press your hand down the length of her hair, stroking gently on the dark locks even as your eyelids flutter and fall.
[say]"Sounds good."[/say] No protest from you: rest sounds divine, and you can fill her in on the details of the misadventures in the light of day, when they're easier to look at. You've both done enough for tonight between hearing dead people and saving lives. Anything (and anyone) else can wait until the dawn.
