Chulane's suggestion, one that Morgan had briefly considered herself, made her pause. [say]"I don't know. I think...it might be worth testing, but not right now. A day or two to recover, in case the water had any deeper adverse effects."[/say] She spoke with a hushed tone, directed towards Chulane and away from Neron, not wanting to put ideas in his delirious mind.
As she looked about the room again, she briefly caught Deimos' eyes and noted that there was something more of the man himself in them; hope bloomed in her chest, just for a moment. Morgan could tell that many in the hall were exhausted, upset by this, her among them, but they were all continuing regardless: her pride in her people had never been more intense. Stepping down from where she'd given her speech she went to speak to various individuals dotted around, available for questions should there be any more for her.

Whining as sense continued to return to him, Loren found himself on the ground again. The additional water the guard had brought helped and it only took him a short amount of time to finish it. At Deimos' words, the healer looked up [say]Go...go where? The Climb?[/say] There was a keening sound and it took him far too long to realize it was coming from him.
Falling silent, he struggled to his feet. Padding towards Neron, the lion settled at his brother's feet. [say]What's wrong with him? With...us?[/say] The Firebrand looked around for someone, anyone, who might explain what was going on. [say]Did I...we...did we bring something back from the Climb?[/say]

Unaware of anything Loren was saying out into the Attuned bond, Morgan made her rounds through the room, speaking to the infected and their families; every so often she would cast a guilty glance over to Neron, the knowledge that she couldn't help him along with everyone else a heavy weight on her heart. Still, there were more citizens than the former Warden, and she couldn't be seen as playing favourites.
At least Deimos and Loren were looking better, though with Loren still in his lion form it was hard to tell; she liked to think he looked a little perkier. Once she had spoken to everyone there she went to fetch Neron, stopping with him in the doorway to smile quietly at her people and bid them well, let them know they could find her soon in the hall.
