For the Fae - Wessex - 10-22-2020
There has to be a line draw, a stand taken; in small increments at first, so as not to seem too aggressive.
Accompanied by three NPCs, the Queen heads to the Hollowed Ground/Greatwood border and makes well sure that she stays on the Grounds’ part of the boundary. Confident that the Fae are watching, she calls up her shadow and puts a folded piece of paper and a rock in its hand. It stretches as far as it can and ends up sliding the note across the border before retreating - Wessex remaining exactly where she stands.
She doesn’t wait to see if it’s retrieved, knowing it will be by either mortal or magical means.
It reads:
It is the Hollowed Ground’s understanding that the Fae are looking for Ascended parts to complete a request by Safrin.
Given that the herald’s last request for Ascended parts ended in two of us dying, any harvesting, stealing, or forced handover of Ascended parts will be seen as a violent act against the race. Reports of more attacks will be thoroughly investigated.
Parts that are freely given or found are obviously excluded.
