Alina shrugged at Anden's observation. [say]"You live long enough, you learn a lot about a lot of things."[/say] And despite her youthful appearance, she'd lived many years, many of them next to the barrier. And she'd lived next to the Hollowed Ground since the barrier came down.
Glancing around at their surroundings, she checked to make sure her pouch with the spines and his hair was securely on her waist. Then she inclined her head to him. [say]"It's late and I should be getting home. Until our paths meet again."[/say] With that, she jumped from the ground and began flying back to the Greatwood. She wove through the trees without a backwards look until the darkness swallowed her even from an Ascended's eyes.
