Tidal forest
A forest of giant decidual trees has been flooded by water that is so clear that the bottom is easily visible. Local dwellings are built in the trees, with bridges and zip-lines crisscrossing between them, and transportation is done by boat.

Wyverns
Related to dragons, these bipedal, flighted creatures only grow to roughly the size of a large horse and have no breath abilities. Unlike their larger cousins they live in flocks and can be tamed, and trained, capable of carrying up to one person through the air.

Night Cherry
Middle sized deciduous trees with black bark and wood that is coursed through with silvery veins that glow in the dark. The leaves are dark purple, and in spring the trees sprout white flowers that also glow in the dark. The cherry like fruits are white and fuzzy on the outside, with a deep blood red flesh and juice.

Naga
Reptile humanoids, they are a curious merge of humans, and lizards or serpents. No two are exactly alike. Intelligent and cunning, they are reclusive and secretive and guard a complex, highly cultured society from outside influences.

Halo stuff!

Snow Golems

When memory snow ages, it becomes semi-sentient and starts to move around.  These snow golems can take on virtually any shape, but usually never grow larger than six feet.

Frost Ferns

Semi-translucent fern-like plants grow directly on the snow and ice. A staple food for the Luxere, they are tough and tasteless. The stalks are full of nutrients however and can be ground into a coarse flour that provide a much needed supplement to the meat-heavy diet of the locals.

Blood Birch

Mutated by magic and adapted to the harsh climate, these trees have white trunks striped with silver, and white semi-translucent leaves that are replaced each Flowerbirth. The sap within the trees is warm, bright crimson and tastes faintly metallic, almost like blood...

Jackalope

A hare-like creature with antlers and fangs, they burrow into the snow where they live in small groups. Legends say that flowers grow in their footprints.

Storm Crow

Adapted to the bitter cold with a thicker plumage, these birds are white, have red eyes and a heavy beak, similar in appearance to a raven but with an eagle's cruel talons. They live in flocks, eat anything they can find and have been known to take down fully grown Luxere. Seeing a Storm Crow fly near the ground is a sure sign that a storm is approaching, hence their name.

Lustrous Butterflies: These little butterflies flit through trees and catch the sun's rays, displaying millions of colors at once. They have healing properties in their wings but are extremely hard to catch. If you pluck their wings after they've died, their wings will disintegrate.

Blushing Burgeons: Brightly colored in various shades of pink, these burgeons thrive in extremely wet conditions and often indicate that the earth beneath them is too wet for anything else to grow. They have poisonous properties if cooked wrong, but can be a delicious treat. When the day grows hotter, these burgeon colors brighten and they grow in size. They return to their original size and color as it grows cooler.

Breath Snatch: A minor Halo nuisance, the Breath Snatch is a small elemental spirit that lingers in open areas on cold days. They're easiest to notice on bright days, a concentrated cloud of glittering frost lingering in the air, but if not noticed and walked into, the elemental will disperse in a puff of freezing air, often freezing the breath in the lungs of whoever was unlucky enough to come across it. It doesn't seem to posses enough sentience to be truly malevolent. Large groups of the spirits are rare, but potentially deadly if walked into unknowingly.

ArcLight Oceans:

Spirit Fish - Leafchange.

These translucent fish are a rare sight. Usually only seen in the depths of the ArcLight Ocean during Leafchange. No one knows where they come from, or where they go. It's said that those eat the fish will be haunted briefly by a spirit from their past.

Deepfrost
Uncommon
Ice-Weaver - A large spider, averaging about 7" in length, not including its long, slender legs. These harmless spiders are highly resistant to cold and look like they're made of ice. They're often found in caves/tunnels. They lay their translucent egg sacs before dying, when the snow melts. These sacs lie dormant for the rest of the year until temperatures drop low enough to coax the spiderlings out. Ice-Weaver silk has a unique characteristic; their giant webs freeze over and the silk takes on a wire-like strength. Only direct heat can destroy their silk.

Halo? Deepfrost?
Mythic?
Brutalis - Nicknamed 'the White Death', this creature is a rare and terrifying sight to behold. Its coat is pure white and its eyes are a glowing red. Brutalis comes in at a massive estimate of 3 meters tall and packs 1,200 lbs of raw muscle. It looks like a giant sabre-toothed cat, boasting long, pointed tusks on its upper jaw. It has an insatiable hunger, feasting only in Deepfrost. It harnesses the power of the snowstorm, creating strong blizzards to draw unsuspecting victims into its ice caves.

The Blue Fleet - An infestation of tiny, blue, half-bird, half locust-like creatures that hibernate until condition sare just right, they hatch in Halo and then descend upon Caido en masse in LongHeat, eating everything in sight until they're fat enough to go back to Halo, lay the next generation, and then die.

Flora idea

Frey's Kisses:
Thought to be one of the Herald's first creations, Frey's Kisses are round, palm-sized, green plants that have luscious pink lips in the center. They seen to exist on divine will alone, having no roots from which to gain nutrients. It is said that if placed on a small wound, the plant will kiss it, causing the wound to heal. Or it might lick you and cause short term paralysis. Discretion is advised.

Fauna: idea!   Tide Jaguar (Torchline- uncommon)

A distant cousin of the sea panther, the tide jaguar can be found in the forests and coasts of Torchline. The rosettes on these cats are bioluminescent, often a shimmering green, purple, or blue. Other colors are possible, but less common. Due to how visible their coats are at night, these cats are diurnal and can be found hunting on the rocks along the water, or lounging in a tree, at any point in the day.

Maybe: Said to be a favorite of Safrin's for how their coats resemble the starry sky at night.

Have a bunch of silly creature ideas. (And one flower)

Ember Hart-(Halo/Draig Cordillera, Uncommon?)- Named for the glowing red orb in the center of their chests, these massive deer-like beasts stalk every forest. They travel either alone or with their mate, searching for whatever prey they might come across. Although mostly deer shaped, these beasts have maws full of fangs and have deadly sharp hooves. Their 'heart' is burning hot to the touch while the Ember Hart lives. Once it's dead though, it gives off a pleasant warmth.

Frost Fox-(Halo, Common)- After generations of ingesting small amounts of mageglass, these fox descends have had some interesting changes. Despite still being "foxes", they are cold to the touch and their fur always has a bit of frost clinging to it. Instead of yipping, their calls can be likened to the sound of ice creaking and cracking.

Hemanoctis-(????, Uncommon/Mythical)- A massive, carnivorous flower that only blooms at night. There is a well of sticky, red fluid in the center that is said to have healing properties. Getting to the center is a whole other story though. Once enough pressure has been placed on the petals, the flower snaps shut, coating it's victim in the sticky fluid.

The Ghost Wailer-(Torchline, Mythical)- A strange, otherworldly ship only seen during LongNight from unlit parts of the beach. It never draws close to shore but should one feel brave enough to draw close to it, they would hear the wailing cries of the crew, begging for help. Those who have approached to help never seem to return themselves.

Compandium-(The GreatWood, Mythical/Rare)- Although, at first glance, a simple panda, the Compandium does not eat bamboo, but books. Young Compandium are pure white, as they consume books, the words begin to appear on their fur. This gives them their classic not-quite-a-panda look. Adults can often recite passages from the books they've consumed, although its unclear if they understand what they are saying.

Glitterotti-(Wishtide Waterways, Uncommon/Rare)- These massive otters love to adorn themselves with the shiniest, glitteriest things they can find. As people so often bury their shinies at the Waterways, the Glitterotties have found this the perfect place to call home. Following one might lead you to treasures of your own, or getting your toes bitten off.

Banded bandits: A small creature that resembles both a ring-tailed lemur and a racoon. Fully grown an adult can fit in the palm of the hand. These small creatures live in large colonies underground and are known to steal from any traveler they can. They particularly like to steal soft materials such as clothing, blankets, and even the occasionally fuzzy companion. It's believed that they use these materials to line their nests, but some say that it's an attempt to replace lost colony members.

Splotched Weed (Torchline, common):
A specific type of seaweed found on the seafloor. It is recognizable by blue spots on the dark green plant. When it's finely ground and mixed water, it turns into a gelatinous paste that hardens into a flexible yet durable material over roughly fifteen minutes. Hardens even underwater. Can be mixed with other substances, though this influences its flexibility and durability.

Fauna: King's End: Uncommon

T'mu: Native to King's end, a species of flightless bird characterized by their small front arms, and black and white body stripes. They are often found racing across the hills and are capable of kicking a man flat on his back with their strong legs. Highly aggressive and will fight any intruders.

Fauna: Walking Palm (likely Torchline, Oerwoud)

Named 'walking palm' due to its wandering, many-legged root system, one would hope that these large trees weren't capable of actually meandering their way to water - except they most definitely are. Most likely to be spotted moving during sunset or sunrise, any individual noticing these trees maneuvering may also be caught or trapped by those freaky roots.

Inspired by actual walking palms, like these: tree
