RE: lux aeterna - Kiada - 02-14-2021

Snowballs soar through the air but Kiada pays it little mind, dragging her sled up with Chulane and huffs of laughter swirling around the two of them. She wishes to go again and Chulane accompanies her – internally wishing that she could offer a pulse of love and appreciation for it through the attuned bond. She can’t, but she does manage to give his hand a squeeze and lean over to press a kiss to his cheek, before she’s departing to set her sled down.

And she hops in, a squeal leaving her as she flies down the hill, sending snow in her wake as she drifts toward the acting Warden, hoping that perhaps the snow from her speed might cascade him in it, before she continues to slide toward the end and slips out – searching for Chulane with a wide grin, picking up a snowball to throw at him, before darting off, activating that upgrade within her that enhances her speed – sending her a surprising distance away without realizing it.

RE: lux aeterna - Belril - 02-21-2021

First thing Belril does in response to the incoming snowballs is duck, though the top of his curly hair does get clipped with some of the snow. Peeking over the trench he made, he began making himself a little armament of snowballs near him, a few made before he started alternating between one for stockpiling and one for immediate use as he rolled them up.

[say]"Anyone wanna help me hit the Warden,"[/say] Belril asked before pointing towards the nice bundle of 'balls to his right before tossing up for another spot of aerial bombardment towards Deimos, a small smile on his face.

Belril admittedly wasn't used to having fun, so this all was a decent change of pace for him.

RE: lux aeterna - Deimos - 03-01-2021

Snowballs launched, kiosks and market stalls filled with food and hot beverages, enjoyment and enthrallment in the sliding, whoops, and cheers of sledding participants, and anyone else venturing within was enough. It was enough for now.

So he surveyed the scene once more, stepping back from barrages and pursuits, merely to watch, to exhale, to breathe out the possibilities of something not bound by ruin or disaster. A calming tide to his apprehensive edges, a quiet chuckle immersed back within his lungs. They’d make it through the season, see it towards the other side, when portals opened and carried the rest of their brethren back.

Until then, they’d have moments like these.

FIN (Thank you to those who came and enjoyed themselves!)
