More bad news - Wessex - 02-03-2021
A body-wrenching groan rips through Wessex as she reads the forgotten book, hanging her head and looking at Henry with something that screams she's just read something most discouraging. [say] "Just a sec,"[/say] she says, stands, and walks into the next aisle.

In the message sent to the Ascended, Wessex details finding a record in the Atheneum of previously used attempts at tricking and trapping the monsters. She confirms that they have a hive mind, which was first learned when a 'decoy house' was built. As soon as the monsters discovered what it was, they all immediately knew. Though there aren't robust notes, it's clear from what she reads aloud they won't fall for the sort of traps or trickery likely to capture animals.
