reap what you sow - Wessex - 02-13-2021 Emptiness. Nothing. No notification, just - gone. It isn’t Oliver’s absence that surprises her, it’s that she didn’t notice he’d just picked up and left. Abandoning his responsibilities and those he’d supposedly promised to protect. The secrecy curdles something in her stomach. Whatever forgiveness and understanding she might have shown if he’d just come and talk to her disappears into her mechanical bowels, replaced by something far more dangerous for him. She disappears, then pops back in a few minutes later, with a freshly written notice. Finding a rogue, lonesome nail, she drives it into the door with her very own fist, leaving a bit of silvery, shiny fluid in her wake. For abandoning the Grounds, its people, and his position during LongNight prep, Oliver is removed from the Queen’s Council and is forbidden from setting up shop in the Grounds again. - Queen Wessex A similar notice is soon posted on the Notice Board
