And with that, the abrupt meeting seemed to adjourn. No names to faces, just features memorized, now known a little better, a little clearer. Whether or not the parallels were significant, noteworthy, or valued at all might come far later in the future, or never at all. Melita shrugged into the silence, for she had her own tasks to complete, and tugged the bone along with its tarp, Fangorn bounding at her heels. They’d be able to journey home in some collective form, and be able to continue her quest the following day, while the sun still remained adrift and lost to the sky.
