She wasn't sure the encantados would welcome her back, after she'd spoiled their game, but the day was young and the sun was bright -- even if they rejected her, she could still enjoy the sea for a good while yet.
[say]I hope the rest of your trip is a bit calmer,[/say] Arialla added, a smile in her mental voice -- and, of course, one plastered over her dolphin's face, but that was permanent. [say]I'm sure we'll meet again under drier circumstances someday.[/say]
And with that, she took her leave of Ray, returning to the ocean -- after jumping out of the water, just to show off, though she didn't quite trust her recently-acquired shift enough to try a flip yet.
