RE: (SE) a whisper in our ear, or a bottle for our fears - Sunjata - 04-15-2021

Nate’s voice is a smooth, easy rumble that only adds to Sunjata’s ability to melt into his husband. He drapes over him, letting the tension bleed away and the exhaustion creep in despite how much he wishes it didn’t. It’s been a long few days, an even longer day full of emotion and hope and pain, full of love and sorrow both. But Nate’s hand moves beneath the blanket and cradles his face, Sunjata’s head tilting into it to nuzzle against it as the words leave his husband mentally.

He wonders if Nate had meant to say that specific term or not, but it leads him to relax further, a warm breath leaving him as he essentially starts to sag within Nate’s arms, draped as he is. Melting into his embrace despite the layers and layers of blankets. But they’ve talked, they’ve come to an agreement, and Nate’s decided that he will come back. Sunjata just has to trust that when he does, he chooses to stay, that something doesn’t happen in the middle of his time away to prevent him from remaining with him.

So he nuzzles in, body relaxing against the demigod, casting a glance around their room to spy the daggers left on the dresser and making a mental note to take them back so they don’t hurt Nate before he’s gone. [say]Lief vir jou.[/say] He hums, the mental tone holding a fair amount of exhaustion, before he can’t keep his eyes open and he’s dragged under for sleep.
