A brief respite in the morning should have screamed danger for all those who knew the warning signs.
On this afternoon the monsoons are particularly hellish. The winds tear through the town, throwing shingles and shutters into the air and taking the livings of several birds and an unfortunate couple out to try and retrieve some supplies. The waves batter the shoreline sucking away sandbags and a single breach umbrella making its last stand.
The Halenani does not escape the fortune many foresaw. One of the outer walls was the first to buckle. That it was load-bearing was not necessarily what spelled doom, but the fact that it let the window right into the heart of the building. The roof was peeled away as easily as a bit of lingerie leaving the brothel open to the wrath of the rain.
The Halenani has been destroyed! It can be repaired during monsoon season with a PQ of at least 10 rounds, or after monsoon season with a normal PQ. All existing threads can complete, but no new threads can be made here.
