If only Melita knew of Milo’s thoughts – because that damned shelter sounded amazing.
Instead though, she bobbed and basked in her mud caste, nodding along, and then processing the situation at hand. It didn’t look like anything was going to be found – despite their best intentions, angles, and possibilities. Hunger had already gotten the best of her, gnawing along at her stomach, the adventure abruptly ended for another time, another opportunity. [say]“Sure!”[/say] Fish sounded delightful – and then more idea sprouted and spurned as she turned back the way they’d come – Fangorn opting to take the lead.
[say]“Oh, we should spar sometime too! That way we can combat whatever we find next!”[/say] A cheeky, infantile grin followed, before they were on their way, back, back, back from the swamps and bogs and muck.
