Maeve nods, trusting that the herald will easily set him back on path, [say]"Okay... He's not very happy with me right now. He doesn't like when I push back."[/say] She huffs, rolling her eyes as she recalls their talk on the beach and how quick he was to shut her out after she challenged him, knowing him too well to just let things go. Perhaps this was a talk Safrin needed to have with him instead of her.
Her attention is drawn to the pendants, watching as Safrin infuses them both with power before handing her one which she clutches tightly before accepting its twin, holding them both to her chest. [say]"Thank you, Safrin. For everything."[/say] She smiles brightly at the goddess, nothing but adoration in her gaze as she stands, gathering up her belongings and leaving the offering behind for her. With this task done, all that was left to do was wait and continue what work she had left to do in the mean time.
