A week later and the shallow grave still remains. A quick jaunt from the Attuned into Halo, to see his husband quickly, as well as retrieve the item in question. He tries not to stay there too long, though, of course – given that he still absolutely loathes the cold and this time is certainly no different. So he arrives, moving to that little lean to that’s still standing by some quiet miracle of the gods more than likely, before he’s digging up the grave to retrieve the certainly frozen ashen coated cloth.
And then? With all the items in hand and prepared, he’s ready to slip back toward home in the Wilds, to pause by a shrine somewhere to see Safrin (he hasn’t decided where yet) and to continue the attempts at freeing himself and preparing himself for something better, something to make him stronger. Not necessarily physically, but certainly mentally.
