[say]"I had hoped."[/say] Remi says with a low huff of laughter that seems to darken his gaze. Not responding to Neron's not-so-subtle hints, the alchemist regards the other man for a moment. He wasn't weighing the prons and cons of killing Neron here and now so much as he was waiting for the dry need of it to seem less tantalizing. Perhaps it was the way Neron's neck remained so still, or how the man had nearly no remarkable scent of his own that allowed Remi's predatory senses to quiet.
Straightening, and stepping back that Neron might pass, Remi absently rubs his bloody wrist against his hip. [say]"Be careful with that gift. I have heard some demigod abilities can kill when used by the ascended."[/say] Not his, probably., but one never knew.
