dive down deep into her sound - Ophelia - 01-02-2022
They step through the portal like an eager fawn, light-footed and bouncing. Dusk has already settled over Torchline, but in place of the stars above there are lanterns and torches to contrast the coolness of the light above. Ophelia's eyes feast on the newness of the world around them, like a child staring bright-eyed about them. Here, without fangs on display, they are the same as any other visitor. Only the awe apparent in their face marks them as a newcomer.
Turning to Samuel to ensure he is behind them as he'd last been, Ophelia reaches for his hand. Tactile and eager in ways they were never able to seek out or fulfill in all their previous years as a human. [say]"Which way do we go?"[/say] Already they can hear the waters, the undulating song of the ocean, and it calls to them.
