“[say]Spirits can do whatever the fuck they want.[/say]” Nate offers, readjusting the way his arms are crossed and not looking away from where the eyes had been just a moment ago. He taps his foot, considering for a moment everything they know before deciding, eh, fuck it. He’s made worse choices with less info.
His head swivels to lock his gaze on Wessex agin, a brow cocking in her direction. “[say]That tell you what you needed?[/say]” Comes the hum, though he barely waits for an answer before dropping in his own two cents. “[say]I think we should get going sooner rather than later. Burning… time.[/say]” He fizzles out near the end, the usual turn of phrase not really applying to them.

The spirit seals the gut feeling for her, and with a shake of her head on the mixed intel she should have seen earlier, Wessex is surprised to hear that Ray wants to go down and examine the cave.[say] “I’m certainly not going to stop you,”[/say] she says with a shrug,[say] “But I think Cam is right. He isn’t there right now. Hak Etme seems like the best option right now. You can stay here or fly there with us,”[/say] Which is to say that she’s with Cam and Nate and it looks like they’re taking a little ride to the desert.
Since Wessex can’t teleport everyone there, she instead shifts into the Mech Minokawa and lowers a wing for Cam and/or nate to climb aboard.[say] Careful,[/say] she adds,[say] Feathers are super sharp. Don’t cut yourself.[/say] With Ray now cut off from her speech, she looks at the Attuned with a questioning crook of her head, as if to ask, Are you coming?

Wessex agrees that they should go to where the Hak Etme plants are and says Ray is welcome to say there or go with them. She shifts into the Mech Minokawa to provide transport for Cam and/or Nate.
