Maeve begins to hum softly as she holds him close, letting his lay his head against her shoulder, pressing a kiss to his forehead. [say]"I think they would."[/say] The Nightshade murmurs, looking up at the stars again herself, a smile curling on her lips as she gathers him into her arms. [say]"Come on... Let's get back home before it gets too cold out. Plus, you need to rest."[/say] She stands up, holding him in her arms letting him stay there as she sends a silent instruction to Aidon to gather their picnic basket.
The dragonling carefully picks up the blanket, putting it on top of the basket before taking the handle in his maw, carrying it alongside the two as they pick their way back towards home. After she helps him get cleaned up for bed, tucked away safely, Maeve gives him another kiss. [say]"Bonne nuit, ma petit prince."[/say] The Nightshade murmurs, brushing back his curls until he falls asleep.
