When the birds disappear and Maea stands again, there’s a matching grin on the Wraith’s face. Three birds were a decent challenge - multiple projectiles are exponentially more difficult than a singular one. And the shield - or whatever it is that Maea created - was interesting. Questions about that would be saved for after.[say] “Good,”[/say] she calls out before moving briskly on to the next attack.[say] “Don’t try to defend against these, just dodge.”[/say]
There’s only a brief warning, and Wessex hopes it’s heeded; birds are one thing, electricity is another. She creates three crackling balls of energy in her palms, lobbing the first one at Maea’s ankles, the second one to her right, and the third one to her left, all in fairly quick succession.
