Auntie Maeve had given her a simple task: collect stars. She had given her a basket full of jars and passed her off to Harper, taking little Jude from the Attuned during the hand off, instructions clear to both of them. The girl holds onto the basket handle tightly as they near the edge of the Miana Pool, a slight skip in her step, hair blowing in the ocean breeze.
