[say]Have a pleasant return[/say], was a bright and brilliant hum, a smile meant to grace both Attuned souls on their upcoming sojourns. She couldn’t quite imagine the journey he’d partake, through various seas and inlets and rivers, but the Caretaker knew her way home now – unfurling rosy wings and grey feathers, winding her way up and up and up, over groves of trees and along masses of hanging vines, eager to spot those familiar crags and cliffs in the far-off distance. They’d done enough for today, and perhaps, in the distant future, those small snippets would’ve been enough to secure shelter, sanctity, and security for another.
