Well, that answers one question. As Jack hoists himself onto her countertop and then her windowsill, Flora can't help but imagine him as a young and scrawny boy, flitting in and out of windows just like this. It stands in awkward contrast to the suave and knowledgable portrayal of him in her mind as some exquisite lover, but before she can try and fit the pieces together, he's cheerfully shouting about her dead grandma.
Blinking at his receding silhouette, Flora frowns dramatically despite there being no one around to see it. [say]"What...just happened."[/say] She asks her cupcakes, before packaging them up and then tidying up the kitchen.
