Paths had veered and swerved and skewed, but the intentions remained the same. Amusements in whatever form they could find, antics and devilry and ridiculousness combined into dizzying heights and even more delightful fragments. [say]“Thank you for convincing me,”[/say] he conjured into her ear, laughing thereafter as the water billowed and streamlined them around and around. His eyes remained wide and bemused as they narrowly avoided bashing into a wall, or eventually, curved back towards the shallows.
Adventures, both old and new, would only be persistent and continued from here, even as they tentatively wound and found their way back home after more gleeful and nefarious hours. It would probably take much less conning to get him to return, whenever they found the opportunity.
