(RQ) hanging by a thread - Sunjata - 10-18-2022
Things have started to get on track with the regional quest he’s inherited, and all that remains is just the last little section of spreading the mixture. He can feel the change in the air, the approach of the war quickly on the heels of the Longheat’s sun, and given that his fellow citizens are Ascended, Sunjata chooses to wait until the sun’s set before making any moves to start the spreading of the mixture, hoping they can get done before the run rises.
So he reaches out to them all, asking them to meet him at the Outskirts, waiting for the time to come and ensuring the mixture is separated for all of them to spread. Once it is and he’s double and triple checked everything else, he waits for them all to arrive, a cigarette hanging between his lips, a deep drag and a plume of smoke left behind like a smoke signal of where he is.
Once they do, the cigarette is put out, a grateful smile offered to all of them. “[say]Thanks for coming.[/say]” He rumbles, moving to the bag with him, handing out each section of the mixture for this part. “[say]So my understanding is we need to place the mixture here, then move onto the Woodlands, then to the Ruins. Let’s get started, yes?[/say]” There wasn’t any further instruction from that, and so Sunjata turns toward the expanse of the Outskirts, jar in hand, ready to spread it along a section that leads along the Fields.
Final part of the RQ for the Hollowed Grounds! Take a jar of the mixture from Sunjata and start spreading along the Outskirts and after 4 posts we can move on!

Nikolai had agreed to help as soon as Sunjata had asked for it. The looming war was beginning to make him antsy. Having a productive distraction that aided in the war effort was perfect. When he arrived, the Ascended nodded in greeting to the others who were present. The demigod got a small smile, [say]"Good to see you again Sunjata."[/say]
When the instructions were given out, Nikolai grabbed a jar and headed to edge of the Outskirts. He began to slowly pour the mixture, following the line of the boundary. The Ascended bit his lip in concentration as he worked, trying to be thorough but not waste any of the valuable mixture.

[say]"Those things will kill you, you know,"[/say] Isla murmurs through the darkness as she sidles up beside Sunjata, smiling to him and nodding at the cigarette between his lips. She'd brought the mixture to him after mixing it all together with Ophelia (and let's just say that sap, glowstones and herbs make a very loud combination when it comes to combining them), and she's more than happy to help get this done.
Accepting her jar, she nods again to Sunjata and head off in the opposite direction to Nikolai, using a small stick to help ease the coated stones onto the grass. [say]"Here, the Woodlands and the Ruins,"[/say] she repeats. [say]"How hard could it be?"[/say]
Isla does the same, going in the opposite direction to Nikolai!
