Tal was only given a few moments to enjoy his victory - and victory smirk - before Sah stepped forward and brought their heads together with a clunk that had Tal staggering back and rubbing at his forehead with wounded pride - and skull.
"Hey! You yielded!" he pointed out accusingly, scowl falling back into its customary place on his features. "Dick." The added mutter was clearly meant to be overheard as he glared at the hunter from beneath dark brows. He checked his blade habitually to make sure it was clean before sheathing it and going over to one of the tables he'd moved earlier, trying to pretend that his head didn't hurt now - almost as much as his pride from having let his guard down too soon.
"Here." It was a grudging courier who tossed the roll of bandages to Sah after cutting off a length for his own ribs so they could patch themselves up. "Try not t'bleed on everythin'."
He definitely tried not to notice that they were going to have matching scars after this. #Frenemies.
