There's a river running through our deepest sorrow - Noah - 01-04-2023

What was Noah doing in King’s End with the approach of his child(ren)’s birth? Well, simply, he was collecting flowers for Cordelia. When they lived as refugees in the rolling green hills, his wife and Deimos had planted a garden. Despite it not being tended well, some of the flowers had taken root and were as hardy as the people who planted them, thus they flourished. Noah felt it would be a nice addition to their home as they prepared for the birth, and perhaps it could bring Cordelia some comfort in the throws of pain she would soon be in.

As he traveled, though, his eyes caught something he hadn’t noticed before. He wasn’t sure how much time had passed after he found himself enthralled in the structure. He examined every inch of the place. He spent time watching how the light shone brilliantly through the colored glass, touching the sun-warmed stone and brick, and listening to the water below in the deep, deep well.
