The dragon's pride has a smile curling at the corners of Fox's mouth as well (and maybe it's a little bit of amusement, but Boreal doesn't need to know that), the hunter turning back to the road ahead. [say]"The Wet Grounds,"[/say] he repeats in an ironically dry tone, smirking to Tal and rolling his shoulders against the telltale ache that will undoubtedly settle in by tomorrow. [say]"I'll be sure to let you know, providing ravens can fly to Halo without freezing."[/say]
Both men are terrible at receiving praise, as it so happens, and so before the response to a compliment can stick in his throat too much, Fox is saved by the familiar slope of buildings up ahead. [say]"Well, this is me,"[/say] he murmurs. [say]"It was good to meet you, Tal. If you ever need a hunting partner in the Grounds, ask around for me."[/say]
And if Fox ever needs a skyship or a man to bait an allogator, well, it would appear that Tal is his man.
