A letter arrives a week after George's visit to Halo, accompanied by a neatly wrapped package containing the beautiful, handmade quilt from the beach.
My dearest Hotaru,
As promised, please find enclosed a blanket that I made. I can't take sole credit for this one - my ma did the quilting, but the embroidery is all mine. I hope you like it!
Can I entice you back to Torchline for surfing and dancing? Let me know when you are available. You're still welcome to stay with me, unless you'd rather find a hotel.
