After her attempts at assistance in Halo, some rest, tending to the Celestine and any other supports necessary in Stormbreak, there were their own ties and requirements to worry about. While she would’ve persisted in lending aid, and pondering over when to leave towards Torchline (and how of a journey it would be to fly, since the skyport was currently unavailable), their tasks to further improve the region were still necessary. The Caretaker figured they could juggle the responsibilities, and pretend it wouldn’t be wearing them all thin.
So she, and Mittens, made their way towards the Eye of the Storm for cleansing purposes, the staff a familiar beat and weight in her hand. Her companion was otherwise engaged in launching itself through puddles, and since it wasn’t terrorizing anyone nearby, she let the little beast be. Walking along familiar pathways, she began extending the healing device over the pool, seeking to purify.
