The reality is, Kaisel doesn't really shine when it comes to the written word. It leaves too much open for interpretation, it lacks warmth, and it's too easy to just ignore. All things he doesn't usually let happen when he can say the things instead. Frowning still, he sees a few areas he can adjust, but thinks perhaps he should just try to use this to open the door and meet up with Caly again, do it right, in front of her.
He glances over at Soh's protests, a devilish grin starting to curl in. She's right, some girls like sweet, which is why she and Koa seemed to work out so well. Caly however... unfortunately there's still so much about her that he hasn't learned yet, which is maddening now that he's trying to ensure he does what she'd love the most. He'd ask her family for help if he hadn't managed to piss off literally every one of them nearly simultaneously. He's gonna have to do this on his own, for better or worse.
[say]"Love's messy,"[/say] he says absently as his pen sets back to paper, waving off her analysis of her own record. [say]"You and Koa got this shit."[/say] He glances back up, smile softening a bit more. [say]"C'mon, let's finish eating and go bother him next."[/say]
