Nate looked up and smiled thankfully at Remi, glad for the reassurance. All of this was new to him, the strange relationship he was in with Sam (they should probably have some kind of talk), the world of Caido and it’s human but not quite races, the monster infested week of darkness, big fire birds. He could take a lot of things in stride, but this was getting to be a little much.
He was a little glad as Remi took his leave, thankful for the privacy. Nate lifted a hand as he went. [say]”Nice meeting you too. And... thanks, for everything.”[/say] Might as well say it now, so he didn’t have to later. Once their kind host was out of view, his footsteps no more than quiet echoes, Nate turned to Sam, brow raised. They were going to have a lot to talk about.
