RE: What It Is You Need To Do - Samuel - 02-01-2020

'Hmm' was not the most sexual encouraging sound Sam had ever heard, but he stayed hopeful, that hope becoming giddy excitement as all of a sudden Sunjata grasped his jaw, was pulled closer: he did indeed press his lips against Sunjata's for just the most precious of fleeting seconds, thinking that was the mans intention (and oh, wasn't it so dirty, in front of the whole bar)--

--Then he was let go and while he did not listen to every word, Sam knew well enough when he was being rejected. Feeling hot shame and embarrassment rise up his front he stumbled to his feet and away from the bar, no longer daring to look into Sunjata's eyes. This whole thing had been stupid, he decided. Stupid to think he could just come and have something like this, stupid to think any man would just want him, he had to make them care about him first because he wasn't desirable, he was only pitiable, he--

[say]"Well, um. Thank you. I'm going to go."[/say] He managed to mumble out before turning to leave, marching determined towards the door and trying his best not to look at any other of the bar's patrons.

RE: What It Is You Need To Do - Sunjata - 02-02-2020

He grasps Sam’s jaw, nearing his head by the Ascended. And perhaps Sam is far too jarred, excited about the circumstance, that he can feel Sam’s lips press against his so briefly before he pulls away, telling him exactly what he thinks. The embarrassment, however, is brought onto him as Sam doesn’t even look to his steel. And while he offers the quiet announcement that the drinks are on him for the effort of asking, and Sam goes to take his departure…

Well, Sunjata lets him. Doesn’t try to stop him. Just watches quietly as he grabs the glasses that Sam had used to pull them behind the bar to be cleaned and what not, before getting back to work. There were some standards he had, and Sam? Well, as much as Sunjata was interested in testing waters as of late, Sam wasn’t quite the water he felt like diving into.
