He’s already been useful in feeding me since we left Torchline.”[/say] Ronin grins, though between Loren and Saiden, he resigns himself to a losing battle. He’s content, anyway, just to relax while the Lullaby and the Shield enjoy their bitching and sassing. As his husband lolls back, however, Ronin realises that even ten minutes of excitement is probably too much for Remi.
[say]”Then I’ll see you in your dreams,”[/say] he murmurs to him, kissing his curls and glancing down at Amalia. [say]”You’re welcome to stay as long as you want, as long as you’re prepared to nap.”[/say] As a leopard, he has a feeling she won’t mind at all.
Either way, he settles down with them both, eyes closing to relax, at last, in the knowledge that he won’t have to save Remi from himself while he sleeps.
