Sitting here, in this warm, cuddly bundle, Nate feels more at home than he ever has before. Even including every other time he's come home, even considering this place is still new. He leans into the warm tongue on his cheek and squeezes Sunjata carefully, shifting to bury his face in warm fur.
[say]Where would I go?[/say] Nate’s mental voice is fragile, a breath that’s not quite a laugh burrowing into the muffling forest of fur. [say]Everything I need is right here.[/say] He can’t quite manage the word, but the feeling of his usual obviously carries over. At the same time though, these are maybe the easiest, most honest words he’s ever said.If he thought the attuned would allow it, he would never let go of him again.
One night will have to do. For now.
