It’s a huge pain in the ass, if he’s being honest. Each time he tries to do something, tries to shake something up to get the landshark distracted, he finds that the creature is far too involved with his lasers to do much of anything else. So he heaves a sigh, an unneeded one, continuing to take the little landshark on a walk.
If nothing else, at least the creature being distracted by the lasers also prevents it from turning around and attacking him so far, which is something that Varus really doesn’t want to have to deal with – despite being in love with a healer that could likely fix him right up after.
So he keeps trying to distract the landshark, and the second he can actually make a break for it? The Ascended bolts.
Varus takes his landshark for a much longer walk, hopefully long enough to distract it onto something else before he tries to get away.
Type: Offensive | Level: Basic
Laser “Pointers” | A bio-upgrade in the fingers on Varus' right hand that can shoot laser beams up to 10ft.
The world is new to you, and you to it. During PQ/PQ+/KQs/Drops, you roll with advantage on luck-based rolls and receive an extra name during drops. (In order to use this, make sure to note the ability at the bottom of each post)

Following after Amun with little pulses of static energy from her upgrade, Isla is quite pleased with their work this afternoon. [say]"He didn't need any help when I left him, but after these are in their new home, it would probably be worth checking in,"[/say] she says with a smile in the potter's direction. [say]"There. Enjoy yourselves!"[/say] This is trilled to the tangleweeds once they're finally tumbling amongst the caltrops.
With that done, she'll follow after Amun to see if they can track down Varus and his new landshark friend. Regardless of how long it takes them to do so (probably another PQ+s worth of posts), eventually they'll manage to peel the assassin away from his game of lasers, and they can all head off home.
