A number of things that are certainly not what Isla and Wessex are dealing with at present, run through Sunjata’s mind. The fact that Ronin had taken the eye is one that has him gritting his teeth – followed up by the kind offer of Isla offering one of her own, though he knows it isn’t the same. It’s just another thing his husband will have to do when he wakes but perhaps Sunjata can make it easier for him in the long run.
Third times the charm, maybe this time it’ll stay.
He completely misses the blue flash of eyes, the way his gaze stares off in the distance, but he does manage to look back when Remi departs in a quick manner, looks to Wessex when the starbolts aim for her and he exhales a quiet sigh, clutching Nate tighter to his chest. He turns away when Wessex announces the information of what had occurred that he’d been blissfully unaware of.
"[say]Let's go.[/say]" He doesn’t have time to posture or make any of this worse, and so it’s with a weary sigh that he steps away from the gathering, without so much as a nod to Ronin who now remains, but focusing solely on handing Nate off to whomever wanted to hold him onto Sunjata’s back as he shifts into the dragon form (the dragon within him snarling and hissing to be unleashed, how can he deny it when the anger is near blinding and tearing up his insides?).
Once they manage to get everyone back on and Nate secure, the dragon departs Stormbreak and heads back to the Grounds.
The war can start another day, but at least today he’s got his other half back to him.
